My husband came home this week with a “mess” of bream, which I couldn’t wait to taste. I immediately looked around the kitchen to see what I could come up with, and here it is, pan-seared bream with mango, peppers, and onions. It is so tasty and quick; it takes about 15 minutes from the skillet to the table.
Ingredients
- 1-pound Bream Fillets (or fish of choice)
- 1 Mango – cubed
- 1 Onion – chopped
- 1 Green Pepper – chopped (any kind of pepper you like)
- 1 Lime
- Oil
- Seasoning (a good go-to dry seasoning is Cuddin Eddie’s Fais Do Do Dry)
Directions
- Heat oil in skillet
- Sear fish on med-high
- Add onion & pepper
- Brown for about 5-minutes
- Add mango
- Cook until mango is heated through
- Squeeze lime juice over mixture
