Use this map to view the fish tracks produced by our acoustic and satellite tags. Our biologists use these tracks in combination with other data gathered from the tags to study fish movement patterns, habitat usage and behavior related to seasonal and environmental changes. These historic tracks are just a sample of the species we have tagged – from whale sharks in the Gulf of Mexico to speckled trout in Lake Pontchartrain.
