Looking for a quick and tasty fish dish? This will fit the bill. This dish can be prepared from start to finish in less than an hour, and the clean-up is a snap with only one dish to clean.

Ingredients

  • 3 lbs fish fillets
  • 3 cloves garlic, chopped
  • 1 chopped onion
  • 1 lemon sliced thin
  • 1 stick margarine or butter cut into pats
  • approximately 2 tbsp olive oil

Directions

  1. Season fillets to taste. I like to use creole seasoning (a good go-to is Cuddin Eddie’s Dry Seasoning available at www.cuddineddies.com) and lemon pepper.
  2. Coat bottom of 9×13 baking dish with olive oil. Lay out ½ of the pats of butter on bottom of dish. Next, spread the chopped onions, followed by the garlic. Then, lay out 1/2 of the lemon slices. Add fish. Top with remaining butter pats and lemon slices.
  3. Bake 20-30 minutes at 350 degrees.

Serves 4-6
